Top 10 Theoretical Physics Podcasts on Sean Carroll’s Mindscape

Sean Carroll hosts conversations with the world’s most interesting thinkers on a wide variety of topics including quantum physics, theoretical physics, cosmology, society, philosophy, culture, arts etc. While I enjoy many of his 187, and counting, podcasts, my favorite ones are the ones related to theoretical physics, quantum physics and cosmology. Also I support him on Patreon where patrons can ask questions and he answers them in his monthly AMA podcast edition. Very enjoyable indeed.

So, here we go, the top 10 starting with number 10:

  1. 28 | Roger Penrose on Spacetime, Consciousness, and the Universe
  2. 45 | Leonard Susskind on Quantum Information, Quantum Gravity, and Holography
  3. 36 | David Albert on Quantum Measurement and the Problems with Many-Worlds (I suggest that you listen to #1 below before you listen to this one)
  4. 70 | Katie Mack on How the Universe Will End
  5. 75 | Max Tegmark on Reality, Simulation, and the Multiverse
  6. 96 | Lina Necib on What and Where The Dark Matter Is
  7. 115 | Netta Engelhardt on Black Hole Information, Wormholes, and Quantum Gravity
  8. 9 | Solo — Why Is There Something Rather than Nothing?
  9. 118 | Adam Riess on the Expansion of the Universe and a Crisis in Cosmology
  10. 55 | A Conversation with Rob Reid on Quantum Mechanics and Many Worlds

Two more special mentions which didn’t make my top 10!

59 | Adam Becker on the Curious History of Quantum Mechanics

2 | Carlo Rovelli on Quantum Mechanics, Spacetime, and Reality
